For Store keeper Accountant Owner or manager

On this page

One warehouse: its page

Open Warehouse and click a warehouse. The page shows:

ItemMeaning
No of productsHow many products have stock there
Total product valueThe value of what it holds today
Weekly sales and purchasesSales and Purchase from this warehouse over recent weeks
A table of productsFor each product: In QTY, In value, Out QTY, Out value, Balance, Balance value and Rate

The table can be searched by product and printed as a warehouse stock report.

All warehouses: Stock summary

Open Stock summary, choose a Report type and set Report group by to Store (the report's word for warehouse). Each product then shows one line per warehouse. To see one warehouse only, choose it in Warehouse (Stock summary).

On a document line

A sales or purchase line shows the balance of the product in the line's warehouse when you pick the product. It is the balance as at the document's date and time, so a back-dated document does not see goods that came in later (How stock works).

Stock status

Stock status lists each product and warehouse with the quantity and the Minimum stock and Maximum stock of the product (Stock status).

Which warehouse has it?

  1. Open Stock summary for the product, grouped by Store.
  2. Find the warehouse with a balance.
  3. Move it with a Stock Transfer (Move stock between warehouses with a stock transfer).

Common questions

Total product value on the Warehouse page does not match Stock summary.

Total product value shows the values as they were last worked out. Open Stock summary first, which brings the cost of every sale up to date, then open the warehouse page again (How stock is valued and what a sale costs).

A service we sell from this warehouse is not on its page.

Services have no stock, so they are not counted in No of products and not listed in the table (Stocked items, services and fixed assets).

The warehouse table shows a product with a minus balance.

More of it went out of this warehouse than came in: usually a purchase entered in another warehouse, or not entered yet. Find it with Stock ledger details for the product and this warehouse (Negative stock: where Penahak checks it).
