Entry control: Purchase and Voucher
Entry control works as described in Entry control: which fields the sales screens show. For purchases choose the entry type Purchase; the controls the purchase screens read are the optional fields Currency, Project/Business Unit, Agent, Sub ledger, Notes, the supplier's own bill number and date, the Order no, GRN no, Quotation no and Requisition no links, the Pragyapan patra no and the Expected delivery date. For vouchers choose Others: Currency, Project/Business Unit, Agent, Sub ledger, Notes, the Payment/Receipt mode and two switches:
- The switch that allows a ledger other than cash and bank in payments and receipts: with it on, Pay from and Deposited to offer any ledger. Without it they offer only cash and bank ledgers (cash ledgers for a cash mode, bank ledgers for the others).
- The switch for the transfer journal: it shows the Contra journal voucher tab on the journal voucher screen (Move ledger balances between branches).
- The switch for cheque bill tagging: a received cheque can then name the customer's outstanding bills, and its deposit clears each of them (Record and deposit cheques).
