A short form of the sales invoice for quick sales where the price on the shelf already includes VAT. The screen takes VAT out of each price, and a walk-in buyer can be recorded by name.
The abbreviated invoice is the sales invoice for the counter. You type the price the customer pays, VAT included, and the screen separates the VAT. It is the same voucher as the standard invoice: it books the customer, the sales income and the VAT, takes the goods out of stock, and is sent to the IRD when your company has IRD on. It is marked as an abbreviated sale.
Open Sales Invoice Abbreviated (the page itself is titled Sales Invoice). It has the same list, statuses and view-page buttons as Raise a sales invoice.
