The Outstanding Summary Report lists who owes what today. The Customer ageing report splits each debt into age bands by bill date or due date, applying money received to the oldest bills first.
The Outstanding Summary Report (menu Customer Outstanding Summary) lists the customers who owe you, one row each, with their amount due and their contact details: Mobile, Phone, Email, Address. Use it to phone or email the customers you need to collect from; the report can send an email or an SMS to the customers you select.
Filters: Ageing based on, From date, As on date, Project/Business Unit, Ledger type, Agent, Area, Party, Amount and With PDC (include post-dated cheques). The columns can show the Actual amount, the PDC amount, the Against PDC amount and the Amount.

What changes
Each customer's outstanding amount sits in the age band of its bills. The report also shows each customer's Credit limit, Over limit, Credit days and Over days, and the Total outstanding amount.
How the figures are built
Every invoice (and other debit to the customer) up to the As at date is a bill, reduced by the returns that name it.
Every payment received, whichever invoice it was for, is applied to the customer's oldest bills first, until the money runs out. What is left of each bill is its outstanding amount.
Over limit is the total outstanding above the customer's Amount limit; Over days is how far the debt is past the customer's credit days. Customers with nothing outstanding are not listed.
