A service job is a job card for a customer's equipment: the problem, the technician, the times and the status. It books nothing; a sales order made from it carries the billing.
A business that repairs or services customers' equipment (vehicles, machines, appliances) records each piece of work as a service job. The page is titled Service Assignment Details (menu Service job card). A job holds the customer, the equipment, the problem the customer reported, the technician, the job's opening and expected closing times, its priority and its status. The job itself does not touch the customer's account or the stock; the billing is done on the order and invoice made from it.
