It started with the books
A double-entry core with a real chart of accounts, cost centres, fiscal-year control and immutable posting. Everything else was built to feed it.
Penahak Technology was founded in 2019 by people who had spent two decades in finance and in technology, and who kept meeting the same problem: the software Nepali businesses could actually buy was never built for how they actually trade.
Plenty of software can add up a column of numbers. What Nepali businesses were missing was a system where the till, the store, the front desk and the books were the same system.
Without that, every business ends up doing the same thing: running two or three systems that disagree, and employing someone to reconcile them by hand every month. The reconciliation is never quite finished, the reports are never quite trusted, and nobody can say what the business earned last week without asking three departments.
Penahak was built to remove that gap rather than to bridge it. One ledger, one customer record, one product catalogue, and every module posting into them.
Penahak started with the books. Everything since has been added on the same accounting core rather than beside it.
A double-entry core with a real chart of accounts, cost centres, fiscal-year control and immutable posting. Everything else was built to feed it.
Retail POS with a real cashier shift model, restaurant service with station-routed kitchen printing, and a hotel and homestay front desk that posts into the same ledger.
Accounting-native CRM, HR and attendance, payroll that runs off real attendance, and production for businesses that make what they sell.
If a mapping is missing, we block the operation and tell you what to configure. It is a worse day for us and a much better year for you.
Every go-live includes configuration, migration, reconciliation against your closing balances, and role-based training on your own data.
Statutory changes affect us at the same time they affect you. Our updates are not a regional afterthought scheduled by someone abroad.
Thirty minutes, your kind of data, and an honest answer about whether we are the right fit.
