Put a bill on hold and recall it

Draft saves the lines of the bill with the customer's mobile number so you can serve someone else. A held bill is kept for 30 minutes at most and holds only the lines.

For Cashier

Hold a bill

  1. Press Draft
    Who
    Cashier
    Where
    POS Sales > Draft
    What changes
A small window Save as draft opens, asking for the customer's Mobile Number.
  2. Type the mobile number
    Where
    Mobile Number
    What changes
Exactly 10 digits. This is the name of the held bill.
  3. Press Save
    Where
    Save
    What changes
"Sales data saved as draft successfully". The held bill is added to the list of the arrow of Draft.

The bill on the screen is not cleared. Press Void/Reset (a supervisor) or recall another bill when you want an empty screen. Holding an empty bill gives "There is no any data to save as draft."

Recall a held bill

Press the arrow of Draft and choose the held bill by its mobile number. Its lines come back and the totals are worked out again. Choose the customer again if the sale needs one, then take the payment. When the recalled bill is saved, its hold is removed.

Common questions

The held bill is not in the list.

Held bills show only for the user who held them, on the till they were held on, for 30 minutes.

Can the customer's loyalty or payment be held too?

No. Choose the customer and take the payment again after you recall the bill.

Does a held bill keep the goods for the customer?

No. Only the lines are kept. The stock is not touched, and it is not checked again when you recall the bill, so look at the stock if the shop is short of that product.

Can I hold two bills for the same customer?

Holding again with the same mobile number replaces the earlier hold. Use a different 10-digit number for a second bill.
