Questions customers ask
Which actions move stock?
Posting a bill takes the stock out, and a return brings the returned product back. Opening a table, taking an order, sending a KOT and voiding a dish do not touch the stock. A comped dish still takes its stock when the bill is posted (What leaves stock when a bill is posted).
Does a check charged to a room make a restaurant invoice?
No. The items appear once on the hotel's invoice at check-out, and the stock leaves the restaurant's store with it (Charge a check to a hotel room or event).
