Use Merge when one party sits at two tables and gets one bill.

Start from the main table
Who
Waiter or captain
Where
Floor Plan > right-click the table that already has orders > Merge Tables
What changes
The window Merge Tables — table name (Primary) opens.
2
Pick the other table
Where
Select table to combine...
What changes
An occupied table shows Session #n, a free one shows Available. Choose it, then Merge. The screen says "Tables combined successfully".
If the other table has its own check, its orders move to the main check: one bill for both.
If the other table is free, it is attached to the same bill and both tables stay shown as occupied.
Bill the main table: the merged tables show on the receipt, and after payment both tables are marked Needs Cleaning.
Common questions
Can I move one dish to another table?
No. Void it on the first table and add it on the second (Void an item).
Can I transfer to a table that is not free?
No: the list shows only free tables. To put two parties on one bill, merge them.
The merged second table shows free on another tablet.
The merge link is kept by the device that did it. Ask that device's user to leave the table alone, or bill the main table so both tables are reset together.
