What Floor View shows
Floor View (the page titled Restaurant Floor Plan) is a quieter view of the floor: counters for Occupied, Available, Cleaning and Covers, the same tables as the Floor Plan, and two helpers: Quick Order and Waiter List.
Below the tables is the Due Bill Summary: every check of the chosen day that has orders but no bill yet. Use it at closing time to find a table that was served and never billed.
Use the Due Bill Summary
- Pick the day
- Act on a card
If the page says Failed to load due bill summary. Please try again., reload it. A card that is Closed is a check that was closed without a bill; it cannot be continued.
The waiter list
Waiter List shows the branch's waiters. Add opens Add Waiter to add a new one (Staff: users, roles, waiters and the secret key).
Common questions
A table was served last night and never billed.
Pick yesterday in the Due Bill Summary; if the check is still open, press Bill panel and bill it. A check already closed without a bill cannot be billed again from here.
Why is a card marked Closed with items?
The check was closed without a bill: a table was marked Available while the check was open, or it was closed in another way. Ask the manager what happened to the order.
Does a table with a pro forma bill printed appear here?
Yes, as long as it has orders and no posted bill. Print bill on the card prints the dishes so far as a pro forma bill, which is not a tax invoice (Print a bill, a pro forma bill and a reprint).
