Print a bill, a pro forma bill and a reprint

The paid bill prints by itself. A bill that is not paid yet prints as a pro forma bill. Any paid bill can be reprinted: an exact copy, marked Copy of original with its number.

The bill after payment

When you press Confirm Payment, the bill prints at once: the restaurant's name and address, its PAN, the bill number and date, the table and waiter, each dish, the lines Penahak adds (service charge, VAT, discount, round-off), the payments, and the guest's name when you chose a customer. A merged table shows both table names.

The look of the bill (logo, footer text, what is shown) is the receipt design of the branch, set up by your administrator.

The guest asks to see the bill first: open Floor View, find the table's card in the Due Bill Summary, and press Print bill. It prints the dishes so far as a Performa Invoice: a provisional bill, not a tax invoice. Voided dishes are left out; complimentary dishes are listed as complimentary.

WhereWhat it prints
Bill panel > Reprint Bill (number), right after postingThe bill just posted
Floor Plan > right-click the table > Reprint Last Bill (number)The last bill posted for that table, from the device that posted it

A reprint is the original bill again, exactly: the same dishes, charges, payments, change and tip line. It is marked Copy of original (n), where n counts the copies: the first reprint is copy 1, the next copy 2. Every print is counted with the invoice in Accounting, so a copy printed later from Accounting's sales invoice list is a numbered copy too.

Common questions

The bill printed on the wrong printer.

The till prints to the printer set for it. Ask your administrator to check the printer set for bills.

The guest wants a copy.

Reprint it from Reports › Bill History: the paper says Copy of original with the copy number.

The reprint shows a tip line.

The original did too: a reprint is an exact copy. The tip is not part of the invoice; it is shown below the total.

The pro forma bill shows a different total.

It is a provisional bill. The final bill can differ if you add a discount, a tip or change a dish.
