HR can enter a day's check-in and check-out by hand, or load many from Excel. An employee with the Manual attendance permission can add their own. One entry per employee per day, never on a day of leave.
When a device is down, a person forgot to punch, or a person works outside the office, the day can be entered by hand. A manual entry takes the place of device punches for that day.

What changes
The day shows on the attendance sheet like a device day, with no late or early minutes counted.
The screen refuses check-in and check-out at the same time ("Checkin time and checkout time not to be equal"), and a day that already has an entry or is covered by a whole-day leave.

On Manual timesheet press the import button (Upload employee attendance), get the Template, fill it in, Upload and import. Rows with problems are listed; fix them and import again.
