Penahak People is the staff side of the product. It holds the employee record, records attendance from devices or by hand, runs leave and the other requests staff make, and works out each month's payroll. The approved payroll is posted to Penahak Accounting as one journal, so the staff cost reaches the books without being typed again.
This help explains each job in plain steps: where to press, what changes, and why a rule exists. Pick your role under Who does what, or start with the short path below. Which parts you see depends on what your company has switched on (attendance and payroll are separate parts) and on the permissions your administrator gave you.

Most-asked questions
An employee is missing from the pay run.
Only working employees with a basic salary and a tax rule for the fiscal year are listed, and not twice in the same period. See Run the month's payroll.
A leave request is refused as over the facility.
The leave rule for the year allows fewer days than requested, counting the balance brought forward. If the refusal comes when the manager approves a request that was accepted earlier, tell support. See Ask for leave and How leave works: types, rules, balance and carry-forward.
Where do I see my payslip?
On your profile, in the Payslip information tab. See My profile: leave, payslips, loans and my own records.
How do I change a payslip after approval?
An approved payslip is locked. See Recommend, approve or disapprove payslips.
Why is the tax different from last month?
Tax is projected for the whole year and spread over the months left, so a change in salary or an extra payment changes the figure. See Tax rules: slabs, discounts, rebates and relief.
Where does payroll show in Accounting?
As a journal voucher made from Payroll JV. See What payroll posts to Accounting.
