For Restaurant

  1. Guests who pay at the table

Cash or card as usual: the check gets the restaurant's own invoice and receipt.

  2. In-house guests

Tender Charge to room / event, find the room or guest, confirm Charge (amount) to folio. No restaurant invoice is printed: the guest pays it with the room bill (Restaurant checks charged to a room or event).

  3. Events

Checks of a wedding or conference go to the event's folio the same way (Events and banquets).

  4. Limits

A guest over their credit limit or marked no-post needs a manager's approval, or pays at the table (Stay credit limits and no-post).

  5. Corrections

Void an item while the guest is in house: the folio follows. Refund a whole room-charged check before check-out from Sales return › Folio charges. After check-out, ask the front desk for a credit note.
