For Front desk

  1. Open your shift

Count the float and Open cashier shift (Open and close a cashier shift). Check the business date at the top: if it is still yesterday, the night audit has not run.

  2. Read the day

The hub (Hospitality) shows arrivals, departures, in house and Needs attention. Reservations lists Arrivals today and Departures today.

  3. Departures

For each guest leaving: check the folio, add anything missing, Check out, take the payment or bill the company, print the invoice (Check out a guest and issue the invoice). Leaving late? The late checkout fee is added unless waived (Early check-in and late check-out fees).

  4. Guest requests

Room moves and extensions (Room moves and stay changes), charges for services (Charges, discounts and voids on a folio), a taxi paid for a guest (Paid-outs (cash advances to a guest)).

  5. New bookings

Phone and email bookings, walk-ins, deposits (Make a booking, Take a payment or a deposit).

  6. Arrivals

Check the room is ready on the Room rack, then Check in: room, registration, police register for foreign guests (Check in a guest).

  7. Hand over

Close your shift with a blind count (Open and close a cashier shift); the next agent opens their own.
