For Housekeeping Maintenance

  1. The day's tasks

The night audit created today's cleaning tasks. Housekeeping › Tasks: assign them by attendant or floor, and print the sheets (Housekeeping tasks and inspections).

  2. The board

Housekeeping › Rooms: departures, stayovers, arrivals not ready, DND and make-up requests (Room status and inspection).

  3. Cleaning

Attendants start and finish tasks; departure cleans follow check-outs as they happen.

  4. Minibar and damage

Post what was used or broken to the guest's folio before the guest leaves (Minibar, laundry and damage charges to a room). After check-out it becomes a late charge (Late charges after check-out).

  5. Inspect

Inspect cleaned rooms: Pass makes them ready for arrivals, Fail - clean again sends them back.

  6. Discrepancies

Housekeeping › Discrepancies: sleepers and skippers checked with the front desk; they stop the night audit.

  7. Faults and lost property

A fault is a work order; a room that cannot be sold gets a block (Work orders, room blocks and preventive maintenance). Items left behind go to Lost and found.

  8. Amenities and linen

Issue amenities and linen from the store, and count the minibar store (Stores, items, counts, transfers and issues).
