Refunds go against the guest's payment and need a manager (Refunds and payment adjustments). Cash for a guest's taxi is a Paid out on the folio (Paid-outs (cash advances to a guest)).

  4. Wrong folio

Move payment or Move lines to the right folio (Move payments and charges between folios).

  5. Settle the folios

Take what is owed, or bill the company (Check out a guest and issue the invoice, Company billing and the city ledger).

  6. Close your shift

Count every tender and currency without looking at the expected figure, Close shift, then read the shift report: expected, counted, variance (Open and close a cashier shift).

  7. Reconcile

Desk payments are reconciled already; anything under To reconcile is matched by hand (Reconciliation, manual match and the card terminal).
