The messages the CRM screens, and the credit check on the sales screens, can show: what each one means and what to do. A refusal saves nothing: fix the cause it names, then do the action again.
Credit check on save
On screenCredit blocked for <customer>. <reasons> Ask a credit controller to approve a credit release in CRM, or take payment now.
What it meansThe credit sale (an invoice, a delivery note, an order that blocks, a POS bill) breaks the customer's credit limit or credit days with the action Block, or the customer is on credit hold. Nothing was saved.
What to doTake payment now (a sale paid in full is never blocked), reduce the amount, or ask for a credit release and save again once it is approved. If the customer's terms are wrong, change the Amount limit, Day limit or their actions in Accounting.
How credit control works Save a credit sale: what you see The customer is blocked, but they paid
On screenBalance after this document would be <amount> against a credit limit of <limit>.
What it meansThe customer's balance in the sale's branch, plus what this sale leaves owing, is above the Amount limit.
What to doTake payment now or reduce the amount; check that the customer's latest receipts are posted (approved) and in the same branch; or ask for a release.
How credit control works The customer is blocked, but they paid
On screenThe document allows <n> days to pay; the customer's credit term is <d> days. / The customer's oldest unpaid bill is <n> days old; the credit term is <d> days.
What it meansThe invoice or delivery note gives more days to pay than the Day limit, or the customer's oldest unpaid bill (counted from its bill date, oldest settled first) is at least that old.
What to doLower the document's due days, or have the customer pay down their oldest bills. "0 days old; the credit term is 0 days" means a Day limit of 0 with Block: set the action to Ignore, or give a real number of days.
How credit control works The customer is blocked, but they paid Customer details in Accounting that CRM uses
On screenThe customer is on credit hold: <reason>
What it meansA credit controller put the customer on credit hold. Every credit sale to them is blocked.
What to doA credit controller lifts the hold on the Credit Desk or on Customer 360, or approves a release for this sale. Cash sales still go through.
On screenCredit release <number> was cancelled or expired a moment ago, so the document was not saved. Check the customer's credit and try again.
What it meansThe release the save relied on stopped being usable between the check and the save. Nothing was saved.
What to doSave again: the check runs afresh. Ask for a new release if the sale is still blocked.
On screenThe customer's credit could not be checked just now, so the document was not saved. Please try again in a moment.
What it meansThe credit check could not run, so the sale was refused rather than saved unchecked. Nothing was saved.
What to doSave again after a few seconds. If it happens for every customer, tell your Penahak contact the time.
On screenAnother sale for this customer is being saved right now, so this one was not saved. Please try again in a moment.
What it meansCredit sales of one customer are saved one at a time; this one waited 30 seconds for the other and gave up. Nothing was saved.
What to doSave again. If it repeats, find out what else is being saved for that customer (another tab, an import).

Save a credit sale: what you see Credit releases: ask, decide, use

What to doRead the reasons, then press Continue and save, or go back to the document.
Save a credit sale: what you see CRM settings and what each one does
On screenCredit release <number> covers this sale. An approver released it for this customer. It is marked as used when you save.
What it meansAn approved release of yours fits this sale. Saving uses it.
What to doPress Save using <number>.
On screenThe server stopped this save, followed by the "Credit blocked for ..." sentence.
What it meansThe check before saving passed, but the check as the sale was saved blocked it: the customer's position changed in between (another sale, a hold, a release used). Nothing was saved.
What to doRead the refreshed figures. If they no longer block ("The customer's position has changed since this save was tried. Save again to check it once more."), save again; otherwise take payment or ask for a release.
On screenThe CRM credit check could not be reached, so this screen's own credit rule was applied. The server checks the sale again when you save.
What it meansThe screen got no answer from the CRM credit check, and used its own credit rule with the figures it loaded.
What to doContinue as the dialog allows; the sale is checked again as it is saved. If saving then says the credit "could not be checked just now", save again a little later.
