CRM has no screen to change credit terms. They live on the customer in Accounting, under Credit settings. Fix the data there and CRM follows at once.
On the customer
| Field | What CRM uses it for |
|---|---|
| A customer ledger (or a supplier marked Also a customer) | Only these are CRM customers (Where the money figures come from) |
| Amount limit | The credit limit: headroom, "over credit limit", and the credit check |
| Amount limit actions | What going over the limit does to a sale: Block, Warning or Ignore (empty means ignore) |
| Day limit | The credit days: the credit check of invoices and delivery notes |
| Day limit actions | Block, Warning or Ignore (empty means ignore) |
| Cash selling customer | A cash customer: its sales are never on credit, so they are never checked (What counts as a cash sale) |
| Agent, area | Receivables ageing by agent or by area |
| Active | A switched-off customer is counted only while money is on the books |
On the documents
| Data | Where | What CRM uses it for |
|---|---|---|
| The invoice's due date | Sales invoice (from its due days) | Overdue and the ageing. Without one, the invoice date is the due date |
| Receipts that name the bills they pay | The receipt's lines | Settling bill by bill, payment speed, closing collection work |
| Receipt approval | Accounting's approval of receipts, where your company has it on | A receipt waiting for approval is not posted: it does not lower the balance, settle a bill or keep a promise until it is approved |
| Post-dated cheques and provisional cash | Accounting's cheque and provisional cash entries | Cheques in hand, expected cash |
| Opening balances | The customer's opening bills | Bills from before Penahak |
| Fiscal year | Accounting's fiscal years | Revenue this year and last year; the statement's Fiscal year range; the Fiscal year period on Collections |
| Cash book | Accounting configuration (the cash ledger) | Sales to it are cash sales |
Common questions
I changed the customer's limit in Accounting. When does CRM follow?
At once: CRM reads the limit and its action from the customer in Accounting each time a screen opens or a sale is saved.
Can I change a customer's limit in CRM?
