New notifications appear in the notifications list. Read all opens the full list, where you filter by topic and open each one, which marks it as viewed.
New notifications for you appear in the notifications list. Choose one to open the document or screen it is about; that also marks it as viewed and removes it from the list. Read All in the notifications list opens the full page.

Notification details lists every notification you have not yet viewed: its Category, Title, Message and Date. You can narrow the list by topic; All shows everything. Use the page-size box to show more rows.

Notification details lists only notifications you have not viewed yet, so one you opened has left the list. Open the document it was about from its own screen.
