Hospitality configuration is grouped so you can work through it in order. The sections that block operations are the accounting ones.
Property and rooms
- Create the property, then room types, rooms, floors and display order. There is a bulk create rooms action for properties with many similar rooms.
- Add room features and amenities, and room images.
- Set base occupancy and base rate per room type.
Rates, channels and restrictions
- Rate plans and package plans, with booking display name and description.
- Channels, with allotment for how much inventory a channel may sell.
- Booking window controls: book before days and book after days.
- Restrictions: closed to arrival and closed to departure.
Accounting readiness
This is the section that gates operations. Map:
- Room revenue, advance and deposit, tax and service-charge ledgers.
- Cash settlement ledger and any provider settlement ledgers.
- Clearing ledger.
- City ledger or company receivable, where you bill companies.
- Central ERP product/service for each charge type, and central inventory item for anything stock-backed such as minibar.
Approval roles and governance
Set the approver role for the actions that need one — voids, comps, waivers, reopening a business date — and the cashier mode that controls how cashiers operate.
Compliance controls
Fiscal and document behaviour is inherited from the central SalesBill and POS configuration, so there is no separate property-level tax registration to maintain.
Payment providers
Cash needs only a tender name, active status, cashier control and the settlement ledger. Gateway providers additionally need merchant credentials, checkout URL, verify URL and callback URL, plus verification evidence before production activation.
Run one full test stay before go-live: reservation, check-in, a charged meal, night audit and checkout. Confirm exactly one SalesBill was produced.
